An Artist Book for Ice Nine Kills went through a few versions before this one in 2025, the first one being created with only Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Photoshop before giving fourteen books to the band at Octane Accelerator Tour of 2019. For the version you see here, I used Adobe Photoshop for color balance and exposure on the photographs of my pencil portraits of the members, copied original text format from Adobe Photoshop, then changed the layout for the all pages in Adobe Illustrator. Freeform perceptual gradients were based on the red from The Silver Scream and lighting results from the portrait edits. The typefaces used were Shlop and JohnDoe. Photographs of the members are from their Instagram accounts, and the photograph of Shane was taken by his wife, Eve. Credits for INK are on the inner front cover.
An Artist Book for A Day to Remember began in 2023 and was finished in 2025 using Adobe Illustrator after adding classic gradient maps onto photographs of my pencil portraits of the members in Adobe Photoshop. Freeform perceptual gradients were added to the spine and reference photograph page to commemorate their biggest album, Homesick. I used Octynaz-Regular and Novecento Carved condensed Light typefaces, adding the alternate color stroke on the lyric pages. I also feathered the drawings. The eagle icon is from ADTR’s merch store and the praying hands are from a lyric video for Miracle, their first single release from You’re Welcome. Credits for ADTR are on the inner front cover.
