These Ice Nine Kills (top) and Bad Omens (bottom) icons were digitally painted about a week before Sonic Temple Festival in 2025. These were a bit different, since I used the eraser quite a bit with differences in opacity to get the dripping on the index finger to meet the curve of the nail bed. I also used the Assisted Drawing guide and Symmetry tool for the rounder portions of the icons on the Bad Omens pinky and thumb nails. David changed his mind a few times, debating on whether or not he should add a small knife instead of the Jigsaw swirl for the Ice Nine Kills pinky. He went with the white version because it has better contrast, especially being seen in real life on his hands.
Falling In Reverse (top) and Sleep Token (bottom) were done in 2024. I almost refused to work on this one because I don't like Falling In Reverse much anymore, but he does, and I care about his feelings ha-ha. I barely listen to Sleep Token, either, but I always thought this tiny, gate-winged angel was neat. I needed to lower the thickness of the narrowest drawing brushes, like Smooth Criminal along with painting brushes like Hotline. I did not need to change the opacity for this one, but I did use the Assisted Drawing guide and Symmetry tool for the thumb nail work. He got black gel matte nails choosing the white version.
Valentine's Day Nails were the first nail designs I did for my friend David in 2023. I used Hotline, Hotline Fuzzy, and the classic Procreate materials Shimmer brush for the glitter effect on the ring finger. I used the Assisted Drawing guide and Symmetry tool for the ring finger and thumb nail red Layout Base work.
