Galaxy-Tough Fists are rock subgenres as tattoos on knuckles based on my fists that I came up with in 2022 for die cut stickers. I wanted to use my Cricut to make them on my own, but I changed my mind after reviewing different options to sell them. Then, I placed them into Adobe Photoshop to evenly distribute them and export them as transparent PNG files in 2025 for a pop animation that had three more subgenres in Adobe Express. This one from 2026 is just metal and core ones, now with clean image imports on a galaxy in outer space background.
Kylo Theson is a producer, musician, and also my friend finished in 2025. I used the Assisted Drawing and Symmetry tools for his pendant. I went more for a watercolor look with this piece because of the reference I used of him standing in front of his mirror. Highlighter was very helpful with the shine under his brow bones, nose, and arm. I used different opacities in consideration of an optical contrast conflict with base colors.
Jake + Winston were done in 2024, and the background color with script of their names in flames were added in 2025. William Jake Luhrs is the frontman of metalcore band August Burns Red. The letter O in WINSTON is based on the August Burns Red flame logo recreated from memory. This is him and his French bulldog, Winston, based on a photograph taken at Your Life Gym in Pennsylvania. I used the Assisted Drawing and Symmetry tools to get the sheep tattoo done on his left hand and the Your Life Gym logo on his hat. I also used color drop for the sails on the boat of his right arm as well as the pink, yellow, and gray tattoos on his left arm. Air Gordon and Hotline were used a lot for the blending with various changes in opacity.
Simpson’d Vic Fuentes was done in 2025 as an update to the facial value and compensation for what I could not see in the reference photograph in 2023. Vic Fuentes is most known as the frontman of hardcore band Pierce the Veil. I recreated this profile view of just his collar up based on a photograph that he posted on Instagram while on tour with Blink-182. For his name, I made a copy of my writing and changed the red hue to simulate a shadow. This was the portion unchanged from the first version, and I just thought of it to hint to The Simpsons cartoon—which makes sense because of the a lot of the roundness for the headshot as an aesthetic and his youthful appearance brightened by the harsh camera lens—so the background color went from light teal to canary yellow. For the edit, a lot of dark brown on the nostrils was removed and Skin Tex was used in his T-zone, especially under his eyes. This evened out a lot of hard contrast, and I continued this blending method under his ear and the perimeter of his neck. I relied a ton on H20, Air Gordon, and Hotline brushes.
Mermaid Brandi is Brandi Cassells, one of three mermaids done for the MERMAY trend in 2022. She is the wife of James from the band Asking Alexandria who also drums for Breaking Benjamin. This portrait screams, "I'm in the middle of a peace-out." Brushes for all mermaids used include scales, hair, H2O, Rake, and Hotline.
Megan Thee Mermaid is Megan Thee Stallion, one of three mermaids done for the MERMAY trend in 2022. The reference was Megan in business attire with a good hair up day.
shevyymarinee is Shevy Marie, one of three mermaids done for the MERMAY trend in 2022. The reference is a Valentine's Day themed makeup selfie from @shevyymariee.
